We took many trails ascending and descending Adams, and I will try to list them all. The weather was nice and sunny and warm. There was the occasional threatening cloud, but the weather stayed dry. We started at Appalachia. We took the Air Line trail to the Short Line trail to the King Ravine trail. We crawled in and out of the subway (the rocks at the bottom of the King Ravine Headwall) and then we climbed up the King Ravine Headwall. At the top of the headwall, we got back on the Air Line trail, which shortly passed the Gulfside trail. We took a side trip and summitted Mt. Quincy Adams. Afterwards we continued onto the summit of Adams. We started descending down Lowe's Path. At thunderstorm junction, we took another side trip to Mt. Sam Adams and then continued on Lowe's Path over Adams 4 summit and down to Gray Knob. After Gray Knob, we took the Gray Knob trail to Crag Camp and continue down Spur Trail to Randolph Trail. At the Pentadoi junction, we finshed on the Amphibrach Trail passed Memorial Bridge and back to Appalachia. A great day for a long day hike.
