Stop Global Warming

Acadia National Park May 23 to 26, 2008

On Friday, we hiked past Otter Cliffs along the shore to Sand Beach and then up Beehive trail to the bowl and over Gorham Mountain. On Saturday, we canoed along Long Pond where we saw a bald eagle. Then we headed over to Sand Beach and Otter Cliffs again where we saw a rainbow. On Sunday, we went to Otter Cliffs and got to do some rock climbing. In the afternoon, we headed over to Precipice to continue rock climbing. On Monday, we hiked over to Great Head and rock climbed there. The weather was nice the whole weekend. The first couple of days it went from rain to sun to rain and back to sun, but it never rained long enough to disrupt our weekend. We camped at Blackwoods campground.
